Some hats are soft,
some hats are small.
Some hats are stiff,
some hats are tall.
Some hats have feathers,
some have a veil.
Some hats have visors,
some have a tail.
Some hats protect our
face from the sun.
Some hats are frivolous
and worn just for fun.
Some hats show rank,
some hats show rule.
A crown for a king,
a dunce for a fool.
But for really smart fashion,
it has always been said,
If you’re wearing a hat,
you’re using your head!
